MORE BUSES – Service update Charlton Marshall

Road Closure – A350 after Badger Roundabout, Blandford St.Mary

Good morning
Due to better signage at the Roundhouse roundabout nr Sturminster Marshall and a reduced number of large vehicles using the Park Hill/Gorcombe road as a diversion; we will again attempt to use this road as a diversion for our X8 buses. This will mean we can serve the majority of Charlton Marshall and also all of Spetisbury. Delays will also be a lot less than using the B3082 to Wimborne. Our DDs have now been temporarily replaced with Morebus single decks.
Bus stops: St. Mary’s Hill, Blandford St. Mary Church, Newtown, Park Hill (northbound) will therefore continue to not be served during the closure.
We will of course monitor the situation throughout the day.
