Queen Elizabeth II 1926 -2022
On behalf of Charlton Marshall Parish Council, we wish to share the sentiments of loss and sorrow felt accross the nation in mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
She embodied all the qualities one would wish of a head of State. During her long and extraordinary life her remarkable sense of duty, grace and dignity earnt The Queen the love and admiration of people of all ages, backgrounds and faiths within the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and beyond.
In mourning her passing, let us be thankful for her very many years of dedicated service to our country and for the stability that her leadership has provided during a period of great change.
For those wishing to write condolences, there is a book of condolence available at St Mary’s Church, Charlton Marshall. The Church will be open from 10am – 6pm daily.
