The road closure on the A350 in Charlton Marshall will be extended; our engineers need to replace an additional 70metres of gas pipe to avoid further gas leaks. The road will remain closed until Wednesday 15 July.
This closure will mean:
1. No through vehicle access past the closure on the A350 in either direction – a signed diversion route will be in place 2. Vehicle access to properties within the area of road closed will be maintained, our site team will be liaising with properties affected 3. Pedestrian and cycles access will be maintained.
Bus routes will be affected – please contact your service provider for the latest updates/changes.
We are sorry these emergency replacement works are taking longer than we had originally planned, the extra length of replacement will ensure we remove the risk further gas escapes and disruptive road closures in this location.
